Dane originally came to the firm as a summer intern before returning, post college graduation to accept a public policy fellowship, and in 2019, he was proud to be promoted to his current role, where he works with distinguished leaders, amplifies D&P’s mission of consulting with a social conscience, and makes a positive impact through their client campaigns. Since joining D&P, Dane has hit the ground running, quickly becoming a rising star in advocacy–something he attributes to having strong mentors at the firm.
Dane Pedersen brings a fresh and creative energy to D&P through his role as Junior Associate. He supports D&P clients with his unique take on policy issues, political strategy, and strategic communications. On Capitol Hill, he leverages the firm’s diverse network to deliver on important advocacy goals, including securing recognition and support for D&P’s non-profit partners.
Prior to joining D&P, Dane attended Roger Williams University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History, while competing as a student-athlete on the school’s sailing team. He still sails to this day, in addition to his other hobbies of music production and model submarine building. As a D.C. resident, Dane also enjoys getting out of the city to visit his mothers at their home in Minnesota, where he grew up.
